Acceptance
By accessing or using TridentScan, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Service Description
TridentScan provides attack surface intelligence by analyzing publicly accessible information about domains and email configurations. The service generates security assessments, grades, and remediation recommendations.
Acceptable Use
You may use TridentScan to:
- Scan domains you own or are authorized to manage.
- Analyze publicly accessible websites for legitimate security research.
- Assess the security posture of services you depend on.
- Generate reports for compliance or audit purposes.
Prohibited Use
You may not use TridentScan to:
- Use scan results to harass, extort, or threaten any individual or organization.
- Exploit discovered vulnerabilities to gain unauthorized access.
- Conduct automated bulk scanning beyond established rate limits.
- Resell or redistribute scan data without authorization.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the service infrastructure.
Rate Limits
Rate limits are enforced across all tiers to protect service quality. Free users are limited to 5 scans per hour. Paid tiers have higher limits as specified in the pricing documentation. Exceeding rate limits may result in temporary or permanent suspension.
Data Handling
TridentScan scans only publicly accessible website data — the same information available to any internet user. We do not perform authenticated scanning, penetration testing, or intrusive analysis.
- Scan results are stored temporarily (24 hours for free tier, 90 days for paid tiers).
- Account data is limited to email address and authentication credentials.
- Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We never store card details.
- You may request deletion of all your data at any time.
Paid Subscriptions
- Billing. Paid tiers are billed monthly through Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled.
- Cancellation. Cancel at any time from your dashboard. Access continues through the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods.
Fix Service & 48-Hour Guarantee
When you purchase a Fix ($149 one-time, or $49 for Protect subscribers), we commit to resolving all identified security issues within 48 hours.
- Fixes are applied based on your platform (WordPress, Next.js, etc.) with platform-specific configurations.
- A before & after grade comparison is provided upon completion.
- If we fail to deliver within 48 hours, you are eligible for a full refund of the fix fee.
- Fixes address issues identified at scan time. New vulnerabilities discovered after the fix are not covered under the original fix purchase.
Liability Limitations
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TridentScan's total liability for any claim arising from or related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
In no event shall TridentScan be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, business interruption, or security breaches resulting from reliance on scan results.
Disclaimer
TridentScan is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of scan results.
We are not responsible for the security posture of scanned targets. Scan results reflect publicly observable characteristics at the time of analysis and may not represent a complete security assessment.
You are solely responsible for how you use the intelligence provided. TridentScan is not liable for any actions taken based on scan results.
Enforcement
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who violates these terms. Abusive usage patterns are monitored and may result in permanent blocking without notice.
Changes
We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of updated terms. Material changes will be communicated through the platform.
